There are a number of ways you can get involved with the music life of the City Church

If you enjoy singing quality music you can join the Cornerstone Chamber Choir or the Cornerstone Church Choir.

The Chamber Choir performs three or four major works a year.  The Choir is currently rehearsing Handel: Messiah to be performed on Sunday 2nd November.  Rehearsals resume in January in preparation for Brahms: Requiem on Sunday 29 March.  From the beginning of May the Choir will be preparing David Fanshawe's 'African Sanctus' for performance at a special evening on 12 July, in the presence of the composer.  The Choir meet to rehearse on Sunday evenings (7.30 -10.00) at the City Church.

The Cornerstone Church Choir sings at at regular services at the City Church including Sunday morning Eucharist and monthly Choral Evensong, with a full range of musical settings.  They also perform at Cathedrals around the country. The Choir meet to rehearse on Friday evenings (7.45 - 10.00) at the City Church.

There are opportunities to help in other ways; for example, stewarding at concerts, distributing publicity or assisting with administrative work.
